4. I’m always looking for ways to improve my reading and Ryan Holiday’s video on how to read like a pro had a lot of helpful tips that I’m going to test out.

5. Story Club with George Saunders is a favorite recent discovery.

6. As a mom of three nature loving kids I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting science books. This list of science stories for young readers had many great suggestions. Of particular interest is The Spider Lady by Penny Parker Klostermann.
